Kiwis win at the Teva "Team Extreme World Champs" in italy ... After Vail I had a pretty hectic schedule to get to Milan in Italy for the Teva Outdoor Games just inland from Torino. This event was epic! The courses that we were racing on were massive as, crazy big!!! Unfortuatly for me I missed my flight from Denver, (USA Security) and arrived a day late which meant minimal training on the course, and a hefty travel bill.. I went hard with Sam and Brad who arrived the same day from Munich, and bombed the river a few times blind before we realised how gnarl it was… had some good performances coming away with 2nd overall, after I broke my paddle in the boatercross… haha. Jared was 4th and Sam 5th with Sam Sutton and Jared Meehan in the World Championship Event. We had great runs in the steep creek event, and also in the slalom and became the 2009 world champions!!!! NZ's legend slalom paddler takes out Teva Games steep creek event .... Our congrats go out to Mike Dawson ( NZ ) for his fab win at the Teva Games in Vail Colorado, with world class competition, Mike went on to take top honors. With fellow Kiwi's Sam Sutton ( NZ ) placing a respectable 5th place and Nikki Kelly ( NZ ) taking home the Womens top prize. First shipment arrives in Canada ... The first wave of Bliss-sticks has arrived in the hands of our Canadian distributor Andrew Loughlin, The shipment left our Taihape factory by truck, and then went by sea to Vancouver and then again by road inland to Jasper.... and are now all set to be going out to good wanted homes around Canada. Nows the time to contact Andrew before this shipment is all gone and sold at Bliss-stick Canada.


08 06.2009	GZ Bliss-stick team Europe .... Here are a great bunch of paddlers to check out, Fabio, Federico and Max make up team Gravita Zero ( team Bliss-stick Europe ) and are doing a fantastic job out on the rivers for Bliss-stick. Here is a recent slide show sent in from Max or go check out Gravitazerorider blogspot . Well worth a look and im sure you will see and hear alot more from these boys.


03 06.2009	Josh Neilson checks out Quebec before heading to Vail .... hey bro just got out of 3 days and 4 first descents up here in quebec! this place is amazing! got a day or 2 more here then heading down to meet up with sam brad and mike in vail! ive put a few stories up on the blog from the mission u can check it out, Cheers Josh. Mike Dawson wins in Slovinea event .... Hey Charles and Norm. How’s life back home. I just raced in the Slovinean Outdoor show boatercross! Sick event! Represented the Mysitc hard, and took out the race! It was a classy little event with some cash up for grabs and concerts going all night. I’ve attached some pictures for the site. I’m off to USA on Sunday for the Teva Mountain games in Vail! I’ll send some updates through with whats going on there! It’s going to be sick! The boats going good as! Take it easy ... Mike

Bliss-sticks have begun landing on US soil ...... We are pleased to announce that new 2009 Bliss-sticks are now arriving on US soil and in the warehouse of our new distributor Michael Briere of Wakawai.com.

The Kayaks are in good hands with Michael, and he is well and truely on the job with getting them moving in the states and out to the paddlers. With already another shipment on the water our goal of getting Bliss-sticks on US rivers in time for good flows has become a reality. More info on Wakawai's site.

Bliss-sticks Josh Neilson incredible filming talents .... We have always admired the talents of Bliss-stick team paddler Josh Neilson, both on the water and capturing the action on film. Josh lets everyone experience the ultimate ride of Kayaking and with Video camera in hand Josh will go to all lengths to give a paddlers perspective and the sensation of freefall, check out Joshs website on where you can catch his latest film "ways of Life"

Zak Shaw updates on South Island runs ... Hey mate,Not to long until I roll out to CA.
Things have finished well here mate with two great trips down the Kokatahi and Whitcombe in my last weekend.
Ive just posted a cool selection of pics online at www.passion4adventure.blogspot.com.
I teamed up with Keith Reiley who is in form and paddling hard. H'es in a Mystick also and loves it.

Kayaks Charging out of the shed ... Bliss-Stick is having its busiest year ever with Kayaks rolling off the production line with back to back shipments to Germany, The USA and Canada. following a huge local summer here in NZ and Australia, the Bliss-stick crew are set for a long Easter weekend break before getting back into more of the same come Tuesday.... sorry guys... but Christmas holidays are not that far away.
